  • Posters

The scientific programme comprises two poster sessions: Session 1 on Thursday (13:00-15:00) and Session 2 on Friday (12:30-14:30). Topics "Cell Physiology" and "Physiology of Motor Systems and Exercise" will be presented during the former while topics "Metabolism, nutrition and system physiology " and "Neurobiology and Neurophysiology" will be presented in the latter. All posters should stay up for the entire duration of the day of their assigned session. They must be mounted on the day of the presentation before 09:00 and removed no later than 19:00 of the same day. Poster presenters are required to be available for discussion during their assigned session.

During the poster discussion, posters will be screened by a committee of experts and 8 posters will be selected to access the pitch poster contest scheduled on Friday, 8 September, at 14:30.

Posters of both sessions selected for the pitch contest will be announced on Friday 8 at 14:00 at the Registration Desk. Poster presenters are advised to have relevant slides on their poster ready, in the event of selection for the pitch contest. At the contest, presentations will be arranged in random order and presenters will have 5 min sharp (with slides) to convince the audience and the committee of their work. After 5 min, projector and microphone will be switched off.

When preparing your poster, please remember that its maximum size is A0 (841 x 1189 mm; width x height).

Correct format... poster should be PORTRAIT  poster should NOT be LANDSCAPE Wrong format...

    Posters on digital totems

This year, in addition to standard posters, selected abstracts will be presented on digital totems (capable of displaying regular slides, animations, films, etc). During the poster session, each presenter will be available during the indicated 1-hour time slot for discussions. The selected presenters have received specific guidelines for their presentation using the digital totem. N.B. Digital totem presenters do not have to bring a normal, printed poster.
